Closer to breakthrough in treating ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease)

Researchers with Linus Pauling Institute have developed new treatment approaches using specific types of copper compounds for ALS. The researchers feel that this may also have potential to be useful for diseases other than ALS, such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease.
